Ab-o-Atash Entrance Plaza is located in the north entrance of Ab-o-Atash Park and adjacent to the Haghani Highway. This entrance is comprised of stairs, plaza, fountains and ramps with the area of 3000 square meters. Sustainable and holistic solutions with regards to the multidisciplinary methods are the main project’s approaches which provide the opportunity for human-oriented green urban development. In other words, this plaza was designed and built to provide solutions for sustainable development in urban open spaces. For this reason the priority is given to soft-scape and natural landscape and thus the natural topography has remained intact.

The connection between the main plaza and the pedestrian pathway is maintained by stairs surrounded by natural context. For better accessibility, a continuous ramp connects Haghani Highway’s pedestrian path to the main plaza. Accordingly, 35% of natural area of the plaza were almost left untouched which enabled green spaces development together with the urban space development.
