The central urban texture of Bijar city has been identified and introduced as a historical context in need of reconstruction in the studies conducted for the reconstruction plan of the city. In this regard, the plan to recreate the central area of ​​Bijar city was prepared by the order of the Department of Urban Development and Improvement of Kurdistan Province and the parent company of Iran Urban Development and Improvement in 2016.

The central area of ​​Bijar city, considering the existing problems in various social, economic, physical, and environmental aspects on the one hand and having development capacities and potentials such as historical and cultural background and multiplicity of open and abandoned lands, on the other hand, is a potential opportunity for development through a wide range of scales throughout the city.

Thus, the plan to recreate the historical texture of Bijar, with emphasis on the revitalization of public spaces in the spatial structure of the city has been minutely prepared.
