Women, Architecture, and the City conference

Shadi Azizi and Hamidreza Mousavi, as the scientific secretary and members of the steering committee of the conference, as well as the speakers of the gender and space panel and the women and profession panel, participated in the organization of “Women, Architecture, and the City” conference.

“Women, Architecture, and the City” conference is a platform for the challenge between architects, urban planners, sociologists, and experts in the field of space and gender, as well as the analysis of the relationship between male and female architects and society. This conference has invited professional architects, urban planners, and sociologists from Iran and other countries around the world with years of experience in this field, to create a solution and examine the problems and issues in this field with an all-round discussion about the mentioned topic. Therefore, it has been tried to get all the reputable experts in the fields of architecture, urban planning, and sociology and human geography, in the form of panels on gender, space, profession, and women (press, universities, consulting engineers and offices).
